Just pick the chalk

I'm having trouble filling out my bracket this year. Call it indifference.

I didn't watch much college basketball this year. Illinois sucked, and I lost interest in the sport as the year progressed.

I'd say I haven't even seen half the teams in the field play. That's very unusual for me. In the average year, I see practically every major conference team in action at some point. Can't say that this year.

I don't have a clue who the surprise teams will be, so I'm picking mostly chalk. My final eight are all seeded third or higher.

I'm keeping the same Final Four that I predicted in the paper the other day: UCLA, Georgetown, Louisville and Texas.

I'm hope no one is copying my picks. If they are, they're destined to lose money. I've done well in tournament pools past, but I'm 99.9 percent certain I'm full of crap this year.

Whatever you do, don't listen to me.
