I didn't think Illinois could beat Purdue, but the Illini somehow pulled it off.

Much of the credit has to go to freshman point guard Demetri McCamey, who hit all six of his 3-point attempts and finished with 26 points.

Several of those shots tied the score, including one on the Illini's final possession or regulation.

Survive and advance. Illinois gets another game tomorrow!
