Let's see here: Six homes games, three 11 a.m. kickoffs, one 7 p.m. kickoff and two TBAs.
What ever happened to the good, old-fashioned 1 p.m. kickoff? At the risk of sounding like an old fart, that's the way we did it when I was in school at Illinois. And it's only been 10 years since I graduated.
As a season-ticket holder, I hate these 11 a.m. kickoffs. I have to work fall Friday nights. Prep football, ya know? I typically get off work around 1 a.m.
If I want to go to a game that starts at 11 a.m. Saturday in Champaign, that doesn't leave me much time to sleep and drive down there. Looks like I know which tickets I'll be selling.
