White Sox win the toss - Jason's Take

White Sox win the toss

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Friday's game between the White Sox and Detroit Tigers was postponed due to rain, but the South Siders didn't go winless on the day.

The Sox won a coin flip with the Twins and would host Minnesota if the teams need to play a tiebreaker for the AL Central title.

This could be key, given the following records:

White Sox vs. Twins at U.S. Cellular Field: 7-2
White Sox vs. Twins at Minnesota: 1-5

White Sox overall home record: 49-26
Twins overall road record: 31-40

You never know what can happen in a one-game playoff. But one thing is for certain, it's better to be at home if the situation arises.
