ESPN is reporting LeBron James will announce which NBA team he will sign with during a one-hour special on the network Thursday night.

I can assure you I won't be watching. I'd rather watch the grass outside my apartment grow.

Here's a guarantee.

He ain't going to The Valley of the Stupid (Chicago).

It all looks like Da Bulls are out of the running for LeBron. Either he's staying home or playing in Miami. Looks like the Miami rumor has legs. All I know is Chicago is out, and that means Da Bulls offseason was an utter failure period.

Da Bulls screwed up not hiring Isiah Thomas to coach the team. If Isiah came, LeBron, Wade and Bosh would have came to Chicago IMO. Isiah has credibility and he knows how to work with players. Tom Thibodeau can't say the same thing. This is what happens when Da Bulls hire a cheap coach rather than hiring Isiah Thomas. Thibodeau has accomplished nothing other than being a glorified assistant coach. At least, Isiah won something with the Pacers.

Jerry Reinsdorf continues to show me he is the worst owner in sports. This guy not only screws up in hiring a rookie head coach that never coach in sports, but he tells LeBron that his posse is not invited in the Bulls' facilities. Bad mistake, and its shows the senile old man does not get it. In professional sports, pro atheltes run the show not owners or coaches. Even the Lakers get it. They let Kobe's people infiltrate the Lakers locker room. Pat Riley is tough, but he is even flexible in letting LeBron do whatever he wants. Reinsdorf is stuck in the stone head age with what he told LeBron. It does not work that way in modern day in the NBA.

I said this time after time. Reinsdorf needs to sell the White Sox and Da Bulls if both teams will ever win a championship again.

The Valley of the Stupid community at WSI spewed sour grapes by whining about how LeBron is disloyal to Cleveland and how he is trying to piggyback someone's coattails to go to Miami. That's rich. Really rich. How is he going to Chicago be any different than going to Miami? The Valley of the Stupid community can't have it both ways. If LeBron is a Bull, he makes them a NBA title contender to the point Da Bulls can overcome Derrick Rose's flaws. Chicago sports fans know this. For folks at WSI whining about this, they ought to just grow up.

Their behavior along with the folks at Jay the Joke about LeBron represents nothing more than self-serving garbage, and that what takes place at the Valley of the Stupid.

It makes me really proud and happy to know LeBron ain't going to Chicago.

Enjoy another 1 and out in the playoffs, Bulls.

BWAHAHHAHHAHHAHHAHAHHAHA!

DA BULLS GET STRUCK OUT!

TAKE THAT BULLS FANS!

I cried when he made his announcement. I was stressed these last two days. I really thought LeBron was going to Chicago. LeBron will always be special in my eyes just for saying No to Chicago. He screwed Chicago the way he screwed Cleveland. I love how he fooled Jerry Reinsdorf all around.

Screw you, Chicago.

I won't miss LeBron in Cleveland.

He ain't one of us anymore. He never was. Cavs will move on without him.

i am just glad he is not a Bull.

I have to say I am surprised LeBron did not join the Bulls. I don't blame him for leaving as a Cavaliers fan. I knew why he left, but why didn't he just go lead a team with a championship instead of piggybacking in someone's coattails. At least, he could have done something special in Chicago instead of winning a championship on the back of Bosh and Wade.

He made a mistake not joining Chicago.

Yeah. LeBron took the cowards way out and chose Miami. But Chicago will still make the playoffs like they have almost every year since 2005 and CabagePatchQueer's Timberwolfs will still finish around 12th in the west.

Life will go on.

Also. Aren't you the one Timberwolf that guaranteed us he was going to New York? And he didn't "fool Reinsdorf" if you actually did some research there was an article on ESPN Chicago Thursday afternoon about Jerry not thinking LeBron was coming to the greatest city on Earth (Chicago). The real ones who got screwed were my fellow statesmen from Ohio who fallow the Cavs. And the more I think about not getting LeBron, the more I think is for the best. LeBron doesn't have the mentality of a champion like Jordan or Rose. He's a coward. He would rather be a side kick than a hero. In fact, I think LeBron (who anointed himself that title) is the new prince.

All hail king* Derek Rose!

*As a man of Slavic decent I would rather it be Czar Derek Rose, but I don't make the rules.

Let me start off by saying thank you to Dennis and CavsFan for your comments, and thanks for coming here. I am appreciative of your comments. It's refreshing to have some smart people to actually talk with rather than talking to uneducated people that post here. Stop by anytime. When I read comments from whitesox901, it's refreshing to talk to different people rather than same old boring rethoric that comes from our four readers.

whitesox901: So let me get this straight? You are okay with just making the playoffs? How about thinking big? Like winning a championship. In Chicago, it's a championship or bust. Chicago ain't Boise. Maybe for Boise, you can't have that thinking, but not in Chicago. With the Blackhawks winning a championship, the rest of the Chicago sports teams need to step up. You look at Boston. Those four teams contend for a championship. They know they have to stand up to earn the fans' love. Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics are always contending championships year after year. The competition of earning fans' love and respect in Boston makes all four Boston teams. Shouldn't Da Cubs, Da Bears, Da Sox and Da Bulls do the same? Shouldn't they compete with Da Hawks for a championship?

Sorry, but one and out or going to the second round ain't success. Getting to the Conference Finals or NBA Finals or winning championships is success. For Chicago's standard, it's championships or bust. After all, I read stuff from WSI about how
Chicago fans don't accept mediocrity. In a big market in Chicago where everything is handed to that city instead of not working hard, championships should be expected. I am not that impressed about the Bulls' success. Talk to me when they go to the Eastern Conference Finals.

"Chicago will still make the playoffs like they have almost every year since 2005"

Why let facts get in the way of a fantastic establishment? You realize Da Bulls did not make the playoffs in the 2005 and the 2007 season.

Enough with the greatest city of Earth nonsense. We get it you love Chicago. Writing about it is annoying just like it's annoying to read Jay the Joke's gasbag Tyrone Briggs aka "Big Star" talk about what he does for living currently and what he used to do as a young kid growing up by working on asphalt roofs. What you and Tyrone are doing is nothing more than being self-centered. Also, I question your credibility of being a Chicago sports fan. From reading your posts in the 3 years, it reminds me of you trying to be cool with the glitzy and popular kids by being a Chicago sports fan.

Please stop with sanctimony crap about how you feel about your "fellow statesman". What do you care? You have been laughing nonstop at Palehose since yesterday. Don't insult my intelligence, and don't insult our two new posters. You feeling sorry for Ohio fan is a joke, and you couldn't handle being Cleveland fan. At least, Cleveland fans are knowledgeable and smart not to mention they are very loyal to their teams, which is something I can't say for you and the Valley of the Stupid community. You couldn't handle being disappointed or the losing. In Chicago, everything comes easy for Chicago sports teams with gifts from refs and the league in general. It sure is easy to be a Chicago sports fan than a Cleveland sports fan, and that's why I have zero respect for you.

As for your opinion on LeBron, stop making me laugh. I don't believe what you said for one minute, and honestly, I doubt you even believe with what you said. You are a hypocrite. If Wade, Bosh and LeBron signed with Da Bulls, you would be on cloud nine. Just who are you trying to fool writing this stuff? Do you think I was born last night?

You must not have read my criticism of the Prince at this blog here. I guess all of the stuff I wrote about Prince was fiction when I mentioned his missed shots in the fourth quarter. I must have imagined things when I saw Rose miss shots or come up lame in the fourth quarter against Cleveland. Maybe I was being too hard on him. It's hard for me to take you seriously when you mentioned you don't even watch basketball. Watch a game one day and get back to me!

Final LeBron Thoughts From The Cabbagehead:

-- Read thoughts from WSI, Jay the Joke and Palehose about LeBron's decision. Here's my message to those folks that post there. STOP WHINING! The folks that post at those board come off as sore losers for not getting what they want. They act like everything it's their birthright, but when the crap hits the fans, they stop whining as kids. I find it amusing the posters at the big three boards rip LeBron for going to Miami, but rest assure if he went to Chicago, everyone would have a parade for him at Grant Park yesterday. STOP INSULTING MY INTELLIGENCE! STOP IT! Grow up! Nothing revolves around the world of Chicago. You can't get what you want. Chicago sports fans never suffered ever in their lives so for them to whine it's not only sad, but pathetic. This itself is one big reason why I screamed at work when I saw LeBron announce "In the fall, I am taking my talent to South Beach"

-- The seven different threads of LeBron at WSI makes me if those posters have lives. Seriously? Seven. I get Cleveland because the economy of that city along with the franchise relies on what LeBron's do. The sun will shine up in Chicago if LeBron does not play there. For Pete's sake, Chicago just won another championship. Stop being greedy.

-- It's very amusing to see Chicago sports fans show sympathy to Cleveland. It really is, and most of it is all fake. Chicago sports fans were probably better off laughing at Cleveland fans, especially at WSI. The sympathy was nothing more than self-serving when it comes down to it. They like to pretend they feel sorry only because they did not get what they want. This is what you call being two-faced. Again, stop with the act.

-- This outrage about how LeBron took the easy way out is hilarious. It really is. It's not just Chicago fans, but fans around the world. Isn't LeBron doing what his critics want to do which is winning a championship? What more can they want? Seriously. What did he do wrong? If he stays at his hometown team, he would be ripped. If he goes to Chicago, he would be ripped. If he goes to New York, he would be ripped. If he goes to Miami, he's ripped. He can't win.

What is it? Should he stay at his hometown and lose or go win? The criticism he's getting is unfair and uncalled for. He did the right thing. There's no guarantees in sports. What if he suffers a career-ending injury or what if his knees prohibt him from being explosive? What if the world ends with the Mayan Calendar? Seriously, I'm confused. Critics can have it both ways. They can't have their cake and eat it.

My take? He did the right thing. It's great that three stars are joining forces to go win a title. It's a beautiful thing. These three stars are sacrificing their stats and money for it. Why can't we have this type of stuff in all sports? I love it. Anyone that is complaining has psychiatric issues, and I am not kidding.

-- I admit if LeBron was a Bull, Da Bulls would have another dynasty. I am not a Derrick Rose fan, but LeBron could overcome Derrick's deficiencies, and I feel Bosh would be in Chicago if LeBron was there. Da Bulls were couple of moves away to dethrone the Lakers, and they could have been the favorite heading to the next season. I was really sweating out there. I know rumors had him in Miami, but I had a bad feeling. I was nervous. I was testy all day on Thursday. I did not even eat all day. When LeBron said "This Fall, I am talking my talent to South Beach", I exhaled.

I likened Thursday night's outcome as my favorite moments in sports. Right up there with Da Bears getting creamed by the Colts in the 06 Super Bowl and Illinois losing to UNC in the national championship basketball game in 05.

-- Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver? This is what Da Bulls present us? This is what we have to be excited for? Da Bulls traded couple of winners in Salmons and Hinrich to get Bosh and LeBron, and this is it? What a waste of time that was.

-- Biggest loser in the LeBron sweepstakes? It's Da Bulls and the city of Chicago, and it has nothing to do with me hating them. What does it say about the city and the organization when LeBron and Bosh had no interest in playing for them? It's understandable about Cleveland. That city is an eyesore. Chicago is different. There'e a lot to do allegedly, and atheltes loves to go there when their teams go there. It's a blow to to the ego of Chicago sports fans and Chicago.

-- This idea that Da Bulls are better than the Heat is downright funny, and I thought my takes on sports are comic relief.

-- I thought LeBron was going to go to New York until I read in the papers he did not feel comfortable about the limelight in NY. LeBron wanted to play in a market where he would be enabled and protected. In Miami, no one will care. In New York, it's news. That's make it even more damning about Chicago. In Chicago, atheltes are worshiped and idolized. They are revered. They can do no wrong. We saw that with Patrick Kane, Tank Johnson, Jay Cutler, and other Chicago athletes that got them in the wrong side of the law. They can get away with it. LeBron ain't scared of Chicago. It just wasn't for him, and that's another reason why Chicago fans don't like it.

Also. Granted, I don' feel sorry for Cavs fans, but could you quote any post where I "laugh" at Cavs fans? I realize you just pull stuff out of your ass. But still.

So why don't you go tell me what the video of Cavs fans burning LeBron's jersey is all about at Palehose?

So you admit you don't feel sorry for Cavs fans, but you managed to post this bile about "The real ones who got screwed were my fellow statesmen from Ohio who fallow the Cavs." So what is it? Oh I know. You love to be a politician to people. You kiss up to people, which is what it comes down to, and that's what you did to CavsFan and Dennis. Honestly, if CavsFan and Dennis, you wouldn't have posted this bile about "The real ones who got screwed were my fellow statesmen from Ohio who fallow the Cavs."

Check out Greg Couch's take on LeBron.

You can click "CabbagePatchKid" for the Link or Google Greg Couch, which is where you can see AOL Fanhouse column.

Truth hurts, doesn't it, Chicago sports fans.

One more thing. Couch is missed in this town. Another columnist that served to be honest rather than suck up to the the teams in this town.
It's funny how folks at Jay the Joke whining about Couch. Memo to Jay the Joke community: Writers and columnists are being paid to be objective not to write fluff piece on Chicago teams.

I'm not kissing up to anybody. I don't care about Cleveland or its teams. Cleveland is a horrible city, awful. Your looking at my statement for more than what it is. My fellow statesman did get screwed. But I don't care they got screwed over. I don't. Never said I did. I just stated they got screwed. Your putting words in my mouth.n

I don't even like Ohio. Expect for the suburb of Oregon (where I'm from)

I love that you resurrected a blog entry from last summer to make the comment you did. ;)

It sure is! And your blog is still alive without "CavsFan," "Dennis" and "Cabbage Patch Kid" Who would've thought?! ;)
