Off the floor ... off the scoreboard ...

Local hoop fans no doubt remember Kyle Anderson. A year ago at this time, he was the leading scorer for a dominant Newark team that romped its way to the Class 1A state championship.

Anderson is now a freshman at the University of Delaware, and he's having a pretty nice rookie season for himself. The 6-foot-2 guard is averaging 9.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 30.7 minutes per game for the Fighting Blue Hens.

After a slow start, Delaware enters this weekend's Colonial Athletic Association tournament having won its last eight games to improve its record to 17-12.

We received an e-mail the other day promoting a YouTube video of Anderson demonstrating some of his trick shots. Pretty good stuff:

Kind of reminds me of this commercial from back in the day:

Off the floor, off the scoreboard, off the bankboard, no rim.
