Nothing gained, nothing lost

So, the Oakland A's blew out the Detroit Tigers, 12-4, on Thursday afternoon. The White Sox responded with more dreadful baseball in Kansas City, blowing a 3-0 lead and losing 4-3 in walk-off fashion.

The Sox maintain their two-game lead in the American League Central. There are 13 games left in the season. I don't see the point in breaking down Thursday's loss. The Sox stink against Kansas City, end of story. They finish the year with a 6-12 record against the Royals.

For Sox fans, here's the good news: This team won't see Kansas City again until Cactus League ball begins in the spring!

No more games against the Royals, YES!
