He hasn't even picked a high school yet, but Auroran Ryan Boatright already knows where he wants to attend college. He'll do it for free, too.
"The 5-10 (basketball) guard gave an oral commitment to USC coach Tim Floyd on Sunday," according to the Chicago Sun-Times. "Boatright was at USC for a basketball camp over the weekend, and word leaked out Monday that Floyd had offered him a scholarship. The family confirmed the commitment Tuesday."
This kid is 14. Doesn't this show that college recruiting has gotten way out of hand? Shouldn't Boatright -- and his parents for that matter -- worry first about whether he'll attend East or West Aurora?
