We are just two days away from The Beacon News-Aurora University mayoral candidate forum, which begins at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Crimi Auditorium.
If you can't make it in person, log onto beaconnewsonline.com for live-streaming video of the forum. Also, beginning at 6:45 p.m., join your truly for live blog coverage.
I'll be giving a blow-by-blow, taking questions and offering analysis as Mayor Tom Weisner, Alderman Richard Irvin and Alderman Stephanie Kifowit take the stage for the 90-minute event.
And, there's still time to submit your questions for the candidates. Just email them to dcampana@scn1.com or asalles@scn1.com.
Dan,
I hadn't seen any mention that tickets were required until my wife noticed on Irvin's site http://www.oneaurora.com/ that he mentions them. I also found it on the Trib's site http://triblocal.com/Aurora/Detail_View/view.html?type=events&action=detail&sub_id=50769. I guess I'm just looking for clarification since the Beacon is hosting the forum, but has never mentioned reservations or tickets as far as I can tell. Are they, or are they not required?
From Mike Cetera: We've been terribly unclear on this. I apologize. Tickets are required, although I suspect it will be fairly easy to get them on the day of. You can call (630) 844-4924 or e-mail mayoraldebates@aurora.edu.
Thanks Mike. I just wanted to confirm what I had heard.
