BY MIKE CETERA

We asked candidates for the April 7 election a series of questions we hope will help voters make an informed voting decision. Up now: Elburn village president. Find their surveys attached after the jump.

There are two candidates running for the position.

David L. Anderson, 64, is the retired former owner of The Grocery Store in Elburn. He has served as a village trustee and a Kaneland School Board member. Said Anderson: "I believe the attitude that the Village President exemplifies is contagious and reflects upon all of Elburn and its residents. My decision process will be based on the facts related to the answers to three questions; Is it good for Elburn? Is it good for Elburn? Is it good for Elburn?"

Patricia Ann Romke, is a Realtor with Re/Max Professionals East in St. Charles. She serves as a village trustee. Said Romke: "I am in favor of growth, especially in the commerical sector and secondly in affordable housing, e.g. apartments and condos for first-time buyers and empty nesters."
