ACTV will broadcast Aurora election results
AURORA - ACTV, Aurora's own cable television station, will broadcast election results live beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, on Comcast Channel 10.
Viewers will see results of the Aurora mayoral race, aldermanic races and Aurora township contests, among other local races.
Bob Shelton, host of Aurora Talks, which airs at 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, has lined up four guests who will offer political, historical and present-day insights: Alderman-at-Large Bob O'Connor, Sixth Ward Alderman Mike Saville, Aurora Historical Society Executive Director John Jaros and Public Information Officer Amy Roth.
Videographers will be stationed at the three Aurora mayoral candidates' election night headquarters. Footage from Aurora Talks, candidates' forums and politically-inspired Millennium Moments will round out the broadcast.
A number of Aurora employees are volunteering to help with the production, according to Cable Access Coordinator Scott Sauber, including several recent graduates of ACTV's television production class.

It might be more interesting if fewer of the people offering their thoughts didn't get city paychecks...
It might even be interesting if they covered what the election commission does on election day and night (might be a good one for the local paper as well)
