WIth only three weeks to go before election day, the mayoral candidates have but one joint appearance scheduled.

On Wednesday night, Mayor Tom Weisner, Alderman Richard Irvin and Alderman Stephanie Kifowit will gather at Wesley United Methodist Church for a candidate forum sponsored by members of Aurora's faith community.

Join The Beacon News' live blog coverage beginning at 6:15 p.m. The town hall-style forum starts at 6:30 p.m.

Three candidates take the stage for a forum during a campaign and ... .

There's no punchline. It's just what happened. And what happened is just what you'd expect.

Mayor Tom Weisner, Alderman Richard Irvin and Alderman Stephanie Kifowit met for the trio's second forum tonight. There were no revelations, although each threw a few more jabs.
