The Brook will have to face Naperville North on Monday without leading scorer Arturo Cruz due to Cruz getting a red card on Friday.

The Bolingbrook Raiders Soccer Team opened the playoffs against district rival Romeoville. The Raiders fought hard for every ball as the weather made for miss touches and missed plays all over the field. The Raiders struck the first blow with a free kick goal from Christian Ontiveros who skipped a hard driven ball back post to put the Raiders up 1-0. The pressure was intense from both teams throughout the game with each team committing several fouls. Bolingbrook weathered the elements and the Spartans to take the Regional match 1-0. The Raiders will be without top goal scorer Arturo Cruz who received a red card in the Romeoville match. Bolingbrook will look to build on this momentum as they face state powerhouse Naperville North on Monday @ 4:30 in Bolingbrook. The Raiders will have to step up their performance if they stand a chance of upsetting Naperville North to advance to the Regional Final.
