The Bolingbrook girls softball team had their season come to an end on Monday as they lost 2-0 to Waubonsie Valley in the play-in game to the Lockport regional. Mallie Hall and Kelsey Obzera had the only two hits of the game for the 17th seeded Raiders.
Junior Amanda Duncan went five innings, giving up two runs on six hits with two strikeouts and two walks. Both runs came in the fifth inning when Waubonsie's Becky Horton hit a double to right field with the bases loaded.
Lindsey Jozefowicz got the win for the Warriors, pitching a complete-game shutout while striking out 11 Raiders. Waubonsie next plays top-seeded Lockport.
