The Bolingbrook girls volleyball team lost in two games on Tuesday night to Joliet Township to remain winless in the Southwest Suburban Conference.

The Bolingbrook girls volleyball team played in the United Township Tournament on Saturday.

we got 3rd place at the United Township Tournament.

Emily Kramolisch was voted to the all tournament team. That is the best BHS has ever done at that tournament.

The Bolingbrook Raiders girls volleyball team found out on Friday that it will face Downers Grove North in the first round of the Waubonsie Valley Regional.

The reward for winning that match is a date with defending Class 4A state champion Naperville Central, which gets a bye in the first round. Bolingbrook, the 19th seed, will play the 14th-seeded DG North on Oct. 30 at 5:30 p.m. and then has to play the defending champs at 7:30 p.m. the same night.

The IHSA released the seeds for the girls volleyball sectionals on Thursday, and the Bolingbrook Raiders are the 19th seed in the 20-team Downers Grove South Sectional.

Bolingbrook will find out its first-round opponent when the regional pairings are released on Friday. The tournament begins play on Oct. 29.
