It's a busy Saturday in Courier country, with a number of schools competing in various postseason events.

Class 4A playoffs: Richmond-Burton 48, Genoa-Kingston 14

Class 7A playoffs: Cary-Grove 10, St. Charles East 7

Class 8A playoffs: Schaumburg 55, Warren 21 (Schaumburg will host Bartlett in the state quarterfinals)

VOLLEYBALL
Elgin Class 4A Super-Sectional: St. Charles East d. Crystal Lake South 20-25, 25-23, 25-17

Freeport Class 3A Super-Sectional: Burlington Central d. Metamora 25-23, 25-19

Byron Class 2A Super-Sectional: St. Edward d. Immaculate Conception 25-22, 25-23
