Judson men's basketball player Dewayne Robinson and women's basketball player Alicia Rovertoni were both awarded Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
It is the third week in a row that Robinson has been awarded Player of the Week. Robinson scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Eagles' 83-77 win against Cardinal Stritch, which came into the contest undefeated in CCAC play. Robinson also tallied 21 points, eight rebounds, six steals and five assists in a Judson win against Calumet.
The Eagles now trail Cardinal Stritch and Trinity Christian by one game in the CCAC standings.
Rovertoni averaged a double-double during the week and picks up her first CCAC award of the season. In CCAC games this season, she has averaged 11 points and 12.3 rebounds per game. She is currently 12th in the NAIA in rebounding.
Rovertoni collected 16 points and 12 rebounds in Judson's 63-47 win over Calumet and 13 points and 13 boards in a 61-53 defeat at the hands of Cardinal Stritch. With a 4-2 conference mark, the women currently sit two games behind Stritch.
