Your turn: Is print really dying? Should newspapers do anything to stop the trend of declining paper readership? Do I start looking for a new career now, or is there some type of future for us?
Why look for a new career now when your blog is just taking off? Don't change your business cards just yet, but consider the following:
I think to assume that any form of media that traps its daily publication at a set time will be around forever is naive. The evening news is a perfect example. The idea that anyone actually waits around for Couric, Gibson or Williams to enlighten them as to the day's news is out of touch with reality. Technology has eliminated that need.
In other words, polar bear, you aren't extinct...yet.
