Something fishy in harbor

Hey coho! Yeah, I'm talking to you fish! You may owe the city millions in harbor cleanup costs.

The city of Waukegan is strong-arming lakefront businesses for money to clean up the PCB-contaminated harbor.

Although they didn't put the PCBs there, the city reasons boats serving the businesses have stirred up the muck, making them liable for the millions it will cost to remove the contaminants.

Blaming Larsen Marine's pleasure boats for the harbor mess makes as much sense as suing fish for stirring things up with their fin action.

It's clear the city is just fishing for another sneaky way to get rid of lakefront industry.

Waukegan is always trying to strong arm whatever the goverment wants they get ,protesting does not help they will make you less!!!!

THE HOUND SAYS: Maria, we just want a protester named Maria! Glad you weren't around in 1776, Maria, or we'd be having morning tea, afternoon tea times and flying the Union Jack. Of course protesting helps. Look at the Iraq war.
