Geeks on parade

There was more going on in Wisconsin this past weekend than the Bears-Packers game in Green Bay. Like Geek.kon, a convention of 600 self-described geeks held in Madison.

Yikes, that's a dream come true for Ashton Kutcher, who probably was no where to be found nor were any beauties. The convention, at where else but the Unviersity of Wisconsin, was sponsored by Geek.kon, a registered student organization. It was two days of video games and sci-f.

Mad City sure has changed since The Hound prowled State Street and hung around for the "fifth quarter" to hear the marching band one more time after Badger games at Camp Randall.

And to think, Wisconsin is ranked high in the Top 25 again this year. That's what you call real diversity --- football mixed with geeks.

Or, could this be called, revenge of the geeks? Hug 'em, Bucky!
