Drew Peterson, the now ex-cop considered a suspect in the mysterious death of his third wife and the disappearance of his fourth, will be getting a $72,000-a-year pension. Not a bad deal for patrolling the mean streets of Bolingbrook.
Bet Waukegan cops, who actually patrol some mean streets, don't retire with that much old-age swag! And speaking of swag, Peterson the police sergeant was pulling down an annual salary of $97,038. Yikes, no wonder he could afford four wives!
If The Hound was pulling down that hefty a pension, he certainly wouldn't have waited this long to get his $6,000 a month. But then The Hound wouldn't need that cash for a good defense lawyer, now would he?
Had you worked all those years you would be entitled to your pension. He worked hard to get there and you should understand that. This has nothing to do with his case.
