It would have to be the community of North Chicago NOT coming out in huge numbers to support its Warhawks varsity boys basketball team.
You’ve got an excellent team that plays an exciting style of hoops, and the kids on the team would be thrilled to have the community behind them.
Yet, for some reason, attendance among city residents at home games has been, for the most part, woeful.
It’s hard to imagine a better value for your dollars than watching the local high school team during a season in which it is thriving.
It would be nice to see at least a few more fans out there on Saturday, when the Hawks host Round Lake.
Alas, it will be a shock if it happens.
That's sad. For the team and the city of North Chicago. Pride needs to come back to the school. They could be a big player in 3A.
As a city resident and a parent of a sophomore player I want the record to show that I'm at all of the games all levels time permitted at home or away. For the parents and residents and fans that do show up KEEP it up. We will bring PRIDE back to the community.
let the record show North Chicago fans travel to Libertyville and had just has many fans if not more than Libertyville and watched that VICTORY!!! also. But I agree BRING PRIDE BACK TO NORTH CHICAGO HIGH SCHOOL.
