Who's the guy with all the basketball smarts?

Chris Wroblewski is an outstanding choice. Besides being the best player on the area’s second-best team, he’ll be playing next year at Cornell University in the Ivy League. Clearly, he knows the game.

But don’t overlook Zion-Benton High junior Ronald Steward, who is the starting point guard on this area’s best prep boys basketball team.

The more you watch this junior play, the more you realize he really does get it.

That is, he understands what he needs to do to put his team in the best possible position to succeed. Just like Wroblewski does.

Wroblewski or Steward?

Truth be told, you can’t lose with either of them.

The Bees could survive without Ronald Steward. They still would be a very good team. Not as good as they are but still very good. Highland Park needs Wroblewski more. Without him they would be in trouble. So Wroblewski is more important to his team. Steward the more dangerous player.
