Waukegan High’s entire boys basketball team scored 32 points in a game against an Evanston team that was there for the taking on Friday night. Heck, you’d think that Jereme Richmond would score 32 points a game by himself?
Is there anything more frustrating in sports than watching your team lose a winnable game because it failed to execute after building a nice lead?
It will be interesting to see what happens in the Dog Pound tonight if Waukegan comes up small against neighborhood rival North Chicago.
This hasn’t been an easy first season for Waukegan first-year coach Ron Ashlaw. Tonight’s game is one he really needs to put in the win column.
The guess here is that he will.
