Libertyville Regional – Libertyville 61, Deerfield 51.Winner gets Zion-Benton on Tuesday night, which is not a great prize for winning.
Palatine Regional – Lake Zurich 62, Palatine 55. Hard to believe this, but Lake Zurich only lost one game against teams not in the North Suburban Conference Division.This won’t be No. 2.
Palatine Regional – Rolling Meadows 63, Round Lake 55. It would be great to see an upset here, and the Panthers have the firepower, but Rolling Meadows is pretty good.
Conant Regional – Barrington 55, Grant 50. Hate to pick against the Bulldogs, but we never know from game to game if the team’s leading scorer is going to play or not.
Highland Park Regional – Palatine Fremd 50, Carmel 38. Only 169 days until the start of football practice for the Corsairs.
Class 3A
Grayslake North Regional – Grayslake North 49, Antioich 48. Homecourt advantage will be decisive in this one.
