After going 4-1 in picking Monday night’s prep boys basketball games in the IHSA Class 3A and 4A tournaments, The Locker Room talk is that there’s no excuse for not being perfect tonight.

Class 4A Barrington Sectional Complex
At Libertyville – Zion-Benton 69, Libertyville 53. These teams went into overtime the last time they played, which means Z-B won’t be overlooking the Cats on their home floor.
At Highland Park – Highland Park 60, Palatine Fremd 38. This regional won’t start getting interesting until Wednesday (Waukegan vs. Lake Forest).
At Conant – Conant 61, Grant 59. Picked against Grant on Monday and was completely wrong. If they win this one, The Locker Room scuttlebutt is that we won’t pick against Grant the rest of the way.
At Palatine – Stevenson 55, Lake Zurich 43. Third meeting between these two teams will end the same way the first two did.
Class 3A Antioch Sectional Complex
At Vernon Hills – North Chicago 70, Chicago Prosser 39. Hawks are the top seed in the sectional.
At Grayslake North – Chicago Senn 61, Grayslake North 59. REALLY want to pick the upset here, but can’t pull the trigger.
At Fenton – Grayslake Central 61, Northtown Academy 40.
At Guerin – Lakes 81, Gordon Tech 55. Eagles will run ‘em out of the gym … as long as the Eagles can FIND the Guerin gym.
