Where our Class 4A boys hoops teams MIGHT go

Seeds were announced Thursday, with Zion-Benton and Conant getting the top two spots.

There are four regionals, and they will be played at Libertyville, Highland Park, Conant and Palatine.

Here’s how they COULD be divided by the IHSA:

Libertyville Regional – 1) Zion-Benton; 8) Mundelein; 9) Warren; 13) Libertyville; 16) Grant; 20) Carmel.

Highland Park Regional – 3) Highland Park; 6) Mundelein; 11) Waukegan; 16) Deerfield; 21) Round Lake.

Conant Regional – 2) Conant; 7) Schaumburg; 10) Hoffman Estates; 12) Rolling Meadows; 19) Barrington.

Palatine Regional – 4) Stevenson; 5) Buffalo Grove; 14) Lake Zurich; 15) Palatine Fremd; 17) Palatine.

The four regional winners will play in the Barrington Sectional.

The REAL alignment should be announced in the next day or so.
