The rumor mill continues to churn ...

| | Comments (5) | TrackBacks (0)

A star running back for an area high-school team is rumored to be relocating this summer and will apparently attend another area high school that always seems to be good in football.

And, no, we're not talking about Carmel High because any student-athlete who transfers to Carmel would have to sit out a year. And any star running back who currently attends Carmel would be foolish to transfer somewhere else because he would already be in the best possible situation.

Keep your ears and eyes open during 7-on-7 passing camps this summer to see who's playing with who.

Kennedy to NC is the worst kept secret in the county. He will help them immediately in both football and track. Warren will miss him greatlt - he was their home run threat. The surprise team in the Lakes side will be LF - they will have more fire power than anyone with the best QB and RB combination in the league and fast receivers.

Kennedy to NC. Worst kept secret in the city.

As one of Mr. Kennedy's teachers, I can tell you that we at Warren will not only miss his athletic prowess, but his personality in the classroom and in the halls as well. Greg has a lot of drive...and if the coaching staff and teachers at NC continue the working with him, then good for Greg! I understand UCLA is interested???

This rumor is NOT TRUE! Greg will not be relocating to North Chicago High School. Greg will be playing for Warren (Blue Devils)until he graduates in year 2010.

Mother of Greg

People say that GK is a great kid. The rumors started when he didn't run track - even the NC tracksters were saying he was transferring "for sure" and the kids usually know. Didn't he once live in NC also? It makes sense with the returning skill at NC with one of the best pass rushers around they would be a top team. Plus GK would follow in the footsteps of MT and he's done pretty well for himself.
