Grayslake Central hoops: Moe or Bowen?

Tonight, the Grayslake High Board of Education reportedly is going to consider naming a permanent varsity boys basketball coach for next season. Brian Moe, who coached the Rams last year after former coach Tim Bowen got fired, served as interim coach last winter.
Since elections reshaped the school board, it is possible that there is strong sentiment to bring back Bowen, a very successful coach in terms of wins and losses who was dumped by the former board for reasons not connected to winning and losing games.
So, who will it be: Bowen or Moe?
This does remind of the situation at Waukegan High when Al Rogers was named interim coach after Brian Colbert departed a few years back. After Rogers' season, the job was posted and likeable Al applied for the job. As did Colbert.
Neither of them, of course, was hired. Ron Ashlaw was.
But it was conceivable that Colbert COULD have been brought back, so the idea of bringing back Bowen is not beyond the realm of realism.
The irony, of course, is that Bowen served last year as assistant coach for Waukegan High's team that nearly won the IHSA Class 4A state title. Meanwhile, Moe became the first coach in Grayslake (Central) history to coach a team to victory in a sectional game.
This one has a too-close-to-call feel to it.
What do you think?

With the way they ousted Bowen so abruptedly, why would he want to go back?

I can think of a few reasons.
1) He's still a teacher at Grayslake Central High
2) It's his best chance to get back as a head coach, which is something he's very good at.
3) The newly-elected school board appears to be Bowen-friendly.

Coach Moe was the interim coach? Never heard him labeled that way.

Actually, interim is correct.
Bowen got whacked in, I believe, July, and there was no time to go through the regular process of posting the job and interviewing candidates, etc.
So, the expedient, and, in all honesty, the smart thing to do was name Brian the interim coach for 208-2009, with the understanding that the job would not necessarily be his for the 2009-2010 season and beyond.
Al Rogers was the interim boys basketball coach at Waukegan High during his one year at the helm, and Darryl King served as interim varsity football coach at North CHicago High last fall after Mike Grenda quit during the summer. North Chicago has since hired someone else to head the grid program for the next season, although Darryl was a candidate for the permanent job.

The grayslake school website has many coaching positions open. However nothing about the job mentioned above?

How is that team even going to be considering they lose 4/5 starters?
