Worst rated Oscars, no surprises--now what?

| | Comments (2) | TrackBacks (0)

Sure this was the worst winter in Naperville memory, the worst TV season in decades, the lamest annual movie season--but now the Oscars were one of the worst ever.

Considering there weren't many blockbuster movies nominated, ratings might have went sour because people couldn't identify with the winners. So now what?

Baseball season is not for another month, most sitcoms won't return to air in April. There isn't much to talk about on the entertainment front.

But considering the lack of competition the Oscars had to face, was this the worst Academy Awards in years? Did the ratings really match the product?

Probably. And it doesn't look like we'll have much else to talk about for a while.

I'm so happy this show was poorly rated. I told everyone how condescending these movies are. Don't people go to the movies anymore? Sure, they go to the ones that others want to watch, not the ones that we are told to watch.

How exactly are the MOVIES condescending?
