There was a time when you had to stand next to a wall to make a phone call, or get up to change the TV channel.
No more.
Just as books once were, they'll certainly be different in the future.
Face it: technology is changing even the simplest of things.
Maybe eventually, but I like books. I just think this is something that if I actually bought it, it would lock up all the time or something. I have enough computer aggravations already.
Marry me Mike Mitchell:)
MITCHELL RESPONDS: Only if my wife says if it's OK.
I have always been an avid reader - it's not uncommon for me to hav3e 2 or 3 different books going at any one time. I probably read somewhere between 100 and 150 books a year - both for pleasure and for learning. I have read a number of "E books" over the past few years - downloading them onto my computer so that I can have them when I travel for business. I have to say - while the content may be the same, there seems to be a different "feel" when reading an e book as compared to a printed book. Maybe it's because I am more accustomed to and grew up with printed books. The electronic books are, in my opinion, just not as easy to read and stay focused on. Maybe it's because the hardware just hasn't become user friendly and manageable enough.
