"The Field of Dreams" slogan doesn't quite apply to people preparing pork in mass, but it's a no-brainer that Ribfest brings in tons of people to the area.
But that does mean it's a good thing?

We fit the cranky residents title. We endure four days of unbelievable music noise (why does it have to be so loud?), four days of streets being blocked near the hospital and people parking in front of our house. While the cause is a good one, the site is not. There are many frustrations and dangers in having so many people in such a small area. Let's use common sense and continue Ribfest...in a better location! We would rather not be cranky residents.
