For the first time in this season's second-round play of the Blackhawk Cup, the seeding didn't hold up.

On Wednesday night, a minor upset took place as No. 10 Prairie Ridge sent No. 7 Glenbrook South home 4-1.

The Wolves move on to face No. 2 New Trier Green at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday in quarterfinal play.

In just over two hours at 6:30 p.m., Naperville Central takes on Barrington at The Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville.

The winner faces the victor of No. 3 Loyola Gold versus No. 19 St. Viator, which starts at 8:25 p.m. tonight (Thursday), in quarterfinal play at 7:10 p.m. on Sunday.
