Naperville North remained No. 2 in the new boys water polo rankings at illpolo.com after finishing as the runner-up at the Brother Rice tournament.
The Huskies rallied in the third quarter, but lost to host Brother Rice 11-6 in the final on Saturday. Brother Rice is No. 5 in the current poll.
North (14-4) is now idle until its match at No. 10 Neuqua Valley on April 8. Naperville Central, which has not played since March 18, remained third in the poll.
Waubonsie Valley is 22nd.
On the girls side, Central is still the highest-ranked team at No. 7 after a third-place showing at the Lyons tournament on Saturday.
The Redhawks went 2-2 at Lyons, including their fourth win over No. 11 Waubonsie this year. Central also beat No. 5 Stevensen 5-4, but lost 6-3 to No. 5 Lyons and 7-6 to No. 13 Evanston.
Waubonsie went 1-3 at Lyons, also losing to Lyons and Stevenson. The Warriors beat up Evanston 13-4.
Neuqua, which went 1-2-1 at the Fenwick tournament, is 14th in the current poll. North is 25th.
