After winning tournaments on Saturday, the Neuqua Valley and Naperville Central boys water polo teams will square off Monday night in the second top-10 matchup in a row for both the No. 10 Wildcats and the No. 2 Redhawks.

The Wildcats (12-4) went 4-0 at the Sandburg tournament, including a 9-8 win over No. 4 Sandburg in the title game.

The Redhawks (15-2) won their own tournament for the ninth time in 11 years, knocking off both No. 9 Mundelein and archrival and then-No. 2 Naperville North on Saturday.

North (18-5) didn't fall far in the illpolo.com media poll, switching place with Central at No. 3.

Despite sporting an 8-12 record, Waubonsie Valley is No. 12 in this week's poll thanks to its third-place showing at the St. Patrick tournament. The Warriors went 2-2 against four-ranked teams, beating No. 6 Homewood-Flossmoor and No. 7 Brother Rice.

In the girls rankings, Naperville North fell out of the top 25 after losing three of five games last week. The Huskies (7-15) beat Neuqua on April 8, but lost to Hinsdale Central on April 10 and went 1-2 at the York tournament on Saturday.

Central remains in the top-10 at No. 7, Waubonsie is No. 12 and Neuqua is No. 13.

After taking turns losing to No. 1 Fenwick last week, the Redhawks (16-4) and Wildcats (13-7) will face each other for the second time this season on Monday night. Central beat Neuqua 12-5 on March 7 at the Naperville Quad.
