Should she be suspended for 1 game, 2 games or even more?
Should the U.S. Olympic team get involved and suspend her for any games in Beijing?
Was she targeted by the Shock and deserves to get off scot-free?
No she should not get off scot free. That would only worsen the current targeting that now exists. She and Pierson should receive the same punishment as they are both guilty. If the W would quit pushing her down everyone's throat maybe she wouldn't be a target. It's not her fault, the media needs to quit drooling over her so much. Those of us who are fans know that she is an excellent player, we don't need to hear about her greatness during every game she plays as well as games she isn't even in. Give it a rest and let her continue to show us her brillent skills without the constant chatter.
Ask the Tennessee fans what they think. Candice is a rookie and, yes, she was targeted by the Shock. Just look at her record - did she ever get involved in any altercations while at Tennessee or Naperville Central H.S.? The answer is most likely, no. She deserves to get off scot-free since all that she did was defend herself.
