Warriors, Wildcats ranked in national poll

ESPN Rise released its preseason girls soccer poll and Waubonsie Valley tops the list. The two-time defending state champions are said to be poised for a third straight title.

Neuqua Valley also made the poll, landing at No. 10.

If you're looking for when these teams first meet this season, it's April 20 at Neuqua.

No real suprise here, especially since the Warriors are returning all but 2 starters from last season. When Waubonsie and Neuqua play in any sport, it's huge...even in Girls Soccer! Last year at the sectional championship there were about 5 rows of people standing the entire length of the sideline, not counting the people in the bleachers. Can't wait to see if we continue our streak this season!
