That we are up to no good.

And finally downtown for the Party That Shall Not Be Named, after finding ourselves in broomstick-to-broomstick traffic, circling parking decks for nearly a half-hour.

Already, the streets are lined with Harry Potter fans in full costume, and Jefferson Street closed in front of Anderson's Bookshop around 1:30 p.m. Street closures weren't planned until after 2 p.m., Downtown Naperville Alliance Executive Director Patti Roberts said.

Have your Floo powder at the ready. Travel by portkey or apparition, if you're licensed. Even Ron Weasley's Cleansweep 11 broomstick would be better than driving downtown.

But for all you Muggles, additional parking is available at the Burlington Commuter Lot at Washington Avenue and Fifth Avenue, the Municipal Parking Deck at Eagle Street and Aurora Avenue, Naperville Central High School at Aurora Avenue and West Street and the Central Parking Deck on Chicago Avenue.

The street preachers are out in FULL FORCE today in honor of the Harry Potter Party. I understand that there are people who are upset over children reading books about witchcraft and wizardry... But COME ON, how can anyone be upset over CHILDREN READING. Look at the bigger picture, no one honestly believes Harry Potter is real.

All these people are doing is scaring children who are out with their families trying to enjoy the day and celebrate the release of the final book!
