Tomorrow's the big day!

With less than 24 hours to go until the Susan Komen Race for the Cure in Grant Park, Jen and Kate are feeling ready . . . at least, we think so!

As part of our fundraising efforts, we've been focusing on fun ways to hit up people in the office for some donation dollars. We've been offering food on a somewhat regular basis under the tagline of "Snacks for the Cure." Today we've appropriately stuffed our co-workers faces with donuts (Kate's morning snack for all) and chocolate cupcakes with coconut pecan frosting (Jen's afternoon snack). We're also holding a raffle this afternoon.

Everyone has been more than generous in terms of giving, and we couldn't be happier! From friends, family members and co-workers, all the way to the Sun's fabulous intern Emily teaching Kate and Jen how to make the title of our blog entries pink, it's been amazing. Kate's been hitting the gym every evening this week for some last-minute work on the elliptical machine, and Jen's been up before the sun running in her neighborhood. We're dedicated to finding a cure, and happy that so many people have been willing to help. Kate likes to think her mom is smiling down at her. :-)

Of course, there's still time to give if you want! Once again, here's our Web site.

We'll have a post sometime this weekend detailing how the race went. Thanks again to all - it's been a wild ride!
