Every day it seems there's another new twist and turn to the saga of the missing wife of former Bolingbrook police sergeant Drew Peterson. There's the story of the blue barrel and whether he used it to dispose of the body of wife #4 Stacy Peterson. Then there's the story of how, according to Stacy's pastor, she said that Drew had confessed to her that he had killed wife #3 Kathleen Savio. And, Drew Peterson has been formally named a suspect in the mysterious bathtub drowning death of Kathleen Savio. All of this looks pretty bad for the 53-year-old ex-cop. And every night much of cable TV is obsessing on and dishing the latest details on whether he killed wife #3, wife #4, or both of them. However, there's still a Constitution in this country which says you're innocent until proven guilty. Has there been a rush to judgment with Drew Peterson or is there just too much circumstantial evidence floating around to resist judging him? What do you think?

I am amazed at the community there that they do not remembeeer the Lacy Peterson case just "yesterday" and reflect upon the facts here. Ther is no one else who would want to destroy or alienate Stacey except her husband. I am in awe at what the police force is doing and what they are allowing to happen. This is so obvious and it is so laid out for all of us. This guy is a destroyer of the girl. No doubt about it. I am in awe at the police force here in letting this go on so long. Drew is notmourning , he is not worried, he is not grieving, he is not searching.................what else do we need? He is so guilty that sin would not even define him. What else do we need..............for heavens' sake.::???:????
Fact: Drew Peterson has had 4 wives...
Fact: Drew Peterson's 3rd wife died mysteriously and now her death is being viewed a homocide....
Fact: Drew Peterson's brother in law helped him load a heavy blue barrel into the back of his truck...After doing this he tried to commit suicide...

Thom are you any relation to Carol M. Higgins or Marie K. Higgins? Marie Higgins was making $53,619 in 1999, in 2006 she was making $100,383 - a whopping 87.21% increase 7 years!!!!! Now it's all starting to make sense why Thom is so in love with property tax increases. I will post what Carol's pay has done over that same time period shortly.
What a corrupt and/or inept county. The Peterson, Stebic, Fox case. Are there more that didn't make headlines? I would suggest to bring in State Police or even the FBI to take over law enforcement here. The locals are totally inept.
There is no rush to judgement....He did it and that is why there is so much focus around him.
I want to know why this disgusting man was allowed to date a 16 year girl, when he was 46? Isn't that against the law? There was a high school teacher at Waubonnsie Valley High School a few years ago, age 24, who was seeing a 17 year old student, well, not only did he lose his job, he was arrested, and served time in jail, for statatory rape. Why was this man, and I use that word with a biten lip, allowed to lead this life with the BB Police Dept. aware of this. Not judge? DP has made his wife's disappearence all about him, not her. Blaming her periods on her reasons for wanting a divorce. He had her have a tummy tuck and implants, to please him, and my guess is she grew real sick of this old controling man watching her and following her and not letting her have a life or friends. How sad. Not Judge? Please...if I have to look at his mug one more time on TV or in a magazine, I am going to scream. DP knows where his wife is. Tell the truth DP, and let Stacey's family be at peace. How said for those children. And I am anxious to hear the Will County Coroners autopsy report on wife #3. That is another obvious situation, but DP once again got away with it. Why is the Will County Coroner taking so long?
ok, let's not judge. But, I told mu son, if he ends up on his 4th wife. The 3rd dies from mysterious circumstances. The 4 th is missing and it is suspicious. I am not going on the news to speak out against the wife and protect my son's image.
If she was in fear of him and truly did tell a pastor that he admitted he killed his 3rd wife, I think he should be held on that evidence and interegated more....God help us all if killers can walk around so easily
If he isn't guilty of something, why is He (Drew) not grieving and obsessing with finding the wife even if she left him? He is too jovial and mocking to the media. If my ex were missing, and I did say ex, I would be a basket case until they found out where this person is. I would be the first to take a lie detector's test, like John Walsh, in the disappearance of his son. i would be standing on my edge to find out what is going on. He has shown nothing except "funnies and jokes to the media"'' hE HAS pretended that he was a photographer, made funny comments about her disappearance, joked about her leaving him for another man, but he has shown no concern for her literal disappearance. This is a woman that he was supposedly in love with. This is not normal. He needs to step up and take responsibility for being the MAN of the house. He needs to say, "ok, she is missing, now how do we find her?" Instead he is being the clown on the streets. I would love to believe him, but he is making it really, really hard to do so. God help him. God help Stacey. God help the searchers and that family to find the truth. They need help.
Drew Peterson has not been charged with or arrested for any crime. A rush to judgement? He loves the attention! The media
focus should be concentrated on finding his wife;we all wonder where this young woman could be. We all hunger for her healthy return. We also ponder how her husband can be so cold regarding her disappearance. I personally don't want to see Drew Peterson's face on any type of public media. His attitude evokes a quiet rage and range of emotions in most people.
I hate to answer a question with a question, but I can't resist.
What makes it now an issue to pre-judge someone? Is it because this story is close to home? or what?
I'm not saying its right, but it seems to be the new norm for media. They don't necessarily report facts anymore, they now report rumors.
That just leads to misinformation and of course people unjustly crucified without being tried by a jury of their peers.
..thats my two cents.
