2007 had its share of good guys and bad guys. Sunday’s Sun features the first of a three-page series looking back on the year's top stories. The first segment focuses on stories that a panel of Sun staffers felt were under-reported or over-reported during the year. What do you think of the panel's opinions?
Did you cringe at the sight of stories about Drew Peterson and Craig Stebic? What other stories do you think received too much coverage? What stories do you think received too little coverage?
Monday’s installment will examine Naperville-area winners and losers of 2007, and Tuesday’s segment look ahead to stories to watch for in 2008.

Some guy in Naperville has angry fits and then sues the city because they tried to stop him. Everywhere I look, the "F" name and story come up again. Bloggers arguing about legalities and details.
Really, let this guy have his day in court like everybody else does. His actions tell the only story I need to know. I don't elect people who lose control of themselves for any reason. That's all I need to know.
Now THIS is the most over reported story in the Sun. When I see the "F" name, I turn off and turn the page.
Not enough stories about the housing slump, subprime mortgage crisis. This will be a bigger story in 2008.
