Seemingly overnight, huge potholes appeared in Naperville streets, and the city will likely be fighting a continuing battle with these annoyances until spring.
Where are the worst potholes in the city or surrounding area? Have you suffered any vehicle damage this winter due to these obstructions?

Huge and deep pothole on south-bound Book Road between 87th and Leverenz Rd. I nearly spilled an entire coffee on my lap when this one snuck up on me the day after Christmas.
Stop drinking coffee and pay attention to what you are doing.
Potholes, eh? Now you've done it, Chris! The pro-pothole and anti-pothole crowds are really going to have at each other on this thread!

My windshield is cracked in 4 different places from flying debris from the deteriorating I-88 East.
The potholes start around the 355 exchange and continue to the 294 exhchange. The whole road is all deep holes in places. It's unavoidable and dangerous. Cars swerving all over and hitting their breaks to try missing the craters. And rocks kicking up everywhere.
It's been this way since Sat. Caution.
the carillon.
There's a large one on Ogden westbound near Rickert about 200 feet north of that intersection. About a foot deep and wide.
How about the Stevenson? Biggest pothole in the world!
The biggest pothole I've ever seen in my life is 3 stories deep and located at 400 S. Eagle Street.
That is one hell of a pothole at 400 S. Eagle Street. And to think that is the brain of our town. A POTHOLE!
Numerous small and aggravating potholes appeared on the bridge along Columbia Ave about two weeks ago overnight as one crosses the BN tracks via the bridge.
The City filled some potholes on 248th Av, but neglected to fill the biggest one which is on 348th near the Grassmere entrance to Tall Grass Subdivision.
The city of naperville assumes that all of the wealthy homeowners in Tall Grass want to put their trophy Hummers to the ultimate field challenge...
Dick Furstenau...Worst financial pothole of Naperville
Correction to Kathy Aguayo;s post -
The huge potholes are on 248th near the Grassmere entrance (not 348th) Posted JUST IN CASE the city is watching and wants to fill it.
