Obama's old Jeep heading to auction

| 12 Comments | No TrackBacks

Liz Murphy of Naperville is lucky enough to own a Jeep formerly belonging to President-elect Barack Obama, with the title to prove it. Judging from the proliferation of Obama items receiving high bids on eBay, Murphy is confident she will be able to claim a princely sum when she puts the vehicle up on the site. How much do you think people might pay for the Jeep? Would you want to own a piece of Obama memorabilia? Have you had any brushes with other presidential relics?

with all that is happening in the world, this is news? how about focusing on dead dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico and why this is happening!

Hey Barry, Teddy from the grave. When you sold the jeep, did you find my morality, honor or honesty in it? Oops, missing just like yours......HA,HA,HA,HA

Ted

Looking at the comments, it seems that like only wachos are left in Naperville.

How about checking to see if a Valid IL Drivers License and the birth certificate to back it up are in the glovebox. LOL

H3,

When I am sworn in as President, I will pardon the Napergate Man. He did a lot of good things for society and the City of Naperville.

Shame on you H3 for not remembering Napergate history. He was not arrested for a revoked license. He was arrested for a suspended license that he did not know about. Napergate History indicates he was notified of his suspension after his arrest. Some outfit in Houston sent him his suspension notice by bulk mail according to a Blogger named Diana who had a friend who worked for the Tollway Authority. The proof was sent to former Moderator Jim Lynch who refused to publish the evidence due to what he perceived as privacy laws. It sounds like the Napergate Man got tangled and netted by inefficient and big bureacracy. That is why I ran for President. To fix big government! Thanks for electing me!

My understanding was his daughter ran a toll or tolls causing her Dad to get arrested without him having a clue of what had happened. I guess his only crime was allowing his teenager to drive a vehicle registered in his name. Something I think is normal in Naperville. I am not sure since my 2 daughters are still too young to drive. I can not imagine being arrested because my daughter one day committs a minor traffic violation I know nothing about. At least my Secret Service detail will tell the Naperville Police Dept. where to stick it if they ever attempted to pull such a stunt like that on me.....your President!!!

Since so many people in Naperville appear to be lacking common sense, I think it will be important for me to remedy the situation by pardoning this Napergate Man. That was the purpose of pardons. To let those who were charged and convicted based on the letter of the law instead of the spirit of the law to have a remedy of sorts.

For the record I understand the Napergate Man was not convicted but chose to plead guilty to a lesser charge in return for supervision. The citizens of Naperville should be grateful to this Napergate Man for not trying to make a big deal and fight it in court. He saved the taxpayers lots of money by pleading guilty. I do recall reading he took the City of Naperville to the Supreme Court a few times and won at great expense to the taxpayers and the reputation of the City of Naperville.

A real injustice was also committed on his dog Abby that night in which the callousness and coldness of Sergeant Gregory Bell was revealed. I was shocked to find out this Sgt. was the Head of Internal Affairs. As soon as I am sworn in as President I will cut off all funds for infrastructure repairs to NAPERVILLE until the City Council formally apologizes to Abby on behalf of Sgt. Gregory Bell. I am not going to insist he be suspended as was the case in that Council Man of yours who was wrongfully accused of punching a cop and only arrested 2 weeks later.

If someone dares to punch one of my Secret Service Agents, he is arrested on the spot. They all carry sawed off machine guns and hand cuffs. What would make a police dept. not arrest someone who punched a police officer on the spot has my head spinning. I may have to give your council man a pardon to to clean his record of all false charges if they have not already been expunged. If he was charged with a misdemenaor he will not need my help. If he was charged with a felony those charges can not be expunged and he will need my help. He will receive my help in the form of a full pardon as I believe he was unjustly treated and charged no different than the Napergate Man. Sorry, it is late and I can't think of this council man's name!

I have got a lot on my mind. I have to decide in the next few days if I should rescue the auto industy or let them file for bankruptcy. I am leaning towards bankruptcy to put an end to legacy costs once and for all.

Thank you!

Wasn't the Napergate man driving that Jeep when he was arrested in downtown Naperville? He seems to have his fingerprints on everything........

I didn't know Barack was a Napergatian? No wonder he won! But seriously Scott, shame on you for not remembering your Napergate history!! The NGM was driving a yellow Hummer when he was singled out and unfairly arrested for driving with a revoked license (to which he pled guilty and paid his fine). You see, every Naperville cop knows the NGM and what he drives. Whenever they see a yellow Hummer they look for ways to illegally target the driver (and all occupants, including dogs).

Many of his followers believe he will soon sue the police for false arrest and imprisonment. I wonder when the statute of limitations runs out on this?

She must be with the establishment, any true Napergatian would auction it for charity.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Let us hope she is with the Establishment and can donate the money to the $70 million plus in budget and pension deficits the Establishment created. That would be a noble cause and save the taxpayers a few pennies and maybe a few dollars if she auctions if off for a good price.

And while she is at it Bubo, maybe she can find Sarah's brain.

OMG! Who cares?

Would you want to own a piece of Obama memorabilia?

Yes, can she search the car for his missing documents: Birth Certificate, Theses, medical records, school transcripts and registrations?

If she can find them, I will bid form them on e-bay!
