Despite students outperforming their peers on standardized tests, neither District 203 nor District 204 met the minimum requirements system-wide for Adequate Yearly Progress criteria under the No Child Left Behind Act. The annual report cards on the state's 4,493 public schools showed fewer and fewer schools meeting those requirements.
Is Naperville, indeed all of Illinois slipping? Or is this nothing to worry about? What can be done differently, or better? Voice your opinion.
