Looks like you'd better. A car burglary ring, referred to as "The Felony Lane Gang" might be operating in town again. Their method of operation involves breaking into vehicles and stealing property. The gang is using information from stolen purses for the purpose of identity theft.
The thefts can occur anywhere anytime. Police Sergeant Gregg Bell advises, "the only way to prevent yourself from being victimized by this group of criminals is to not leave your purse in the car. Remember: these are career criminals who make a living by stealing from others."

Better keep an eye on more than your car! Those that run this City just saddled this community with a complete incompetent as the New Police Chief. People thought the rumor that the Human Double Dipper, the least competent of all the incompetent members of the City Management Team, would be named Police Chief was funny, and that there was NO WAY it could actually be true.
YET they have just announced exactly that. Pack up anything and everything of value and run from this town as fast as you can. Not only have they now put public safety at risk, but they have just invested MORE of our hard earned tax dollars in the support of someone someone who shouldn't even be employed, much less in a position of authority.
This is racial profiling, the race and sex of the criminals needs to be deleted so that it doesn't feed racist sexist stereotypes.
