Best game?

It has been a few days, but I'm still recovering from watching Newark's thrilling 76-74 victory against Somonauk last weekend. (For a complete recap or to refresh your memory, click here: http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/beaconnews/sports/760783,2_2_AU26_SOMONAUK_S1.article)

But that game got me thinking.

It was easily the best game I've seen this year. The game had everything: a quick start from Newark, which seemingly couldn't miss from outside, Somonauk showing why it's so tough by coming back and a dramatic finish that also included a few ejections of fans. Like I wrote after the game, by the time Kurt Anderson got to the line for his game-winning free throw attempts, the result was almost an afterthought to the previous 1:30 of action.

It got me thinking though. If you were one of the few dozens of fans who made the trek to Newark last Friday, that game has to be one of the best you've seen the season.

What are some of the best games you've seen this year? How about in the past couple of years? Can any of your best games from this year or the past couple top mine? Leave your comments below and let's find out.
