I understand your point. Every time I turn on ESPN its YANKEES this or YANKEES that. "Will Jeter play?" "Is A-Rod leaving?" "And is the Rocket contemplating a return?"
Honestly, no one outside of the Bronx cares one way or another. As far as I'm concerned, many people outside New York HATE the Yankees, so why do we need to hear this? There are plenty of other players injured or coming back from injuries, why not write an elaborate article about them? It just goes to show that sports coverage has hit an all time low - it's all hype and "he said, she said".
