Daily Dose: May 28 - Ego Trippin'

I'm tired of reading this crap...

And this crap...

Look - sometimes, it's just over, or as Hawk likes to say 'OVAH!'

If you're an athlete, you get old. That's not good, but you can't avoid it. Back in the day (like the 90's and early 00's) you could stave it off with some well cycled 'roids or HGH. But not now. ... but back back in the day, the ol' school, when you got old, you turned to suck.

ask Willie Mays. Ask Carlton Fisk and Fred McGriff as well as thousands of other baseball players who you know, got old and retired.....

That's what happens when you get old in sports. Guys today don't realize this. And for some reason, us media folks don't realize it. So we continue to feed their enormous egos by saying "you should still be playing" or "why don't these old sucky guys have jobs?"

HelllllLOOO - old = bad = no one wants you on their team. Get over it.
