Today's front nine is about hybrid clubs, and what they can do for your game. Most players should switch out their long irons (3 & 4, sometimes 5 & 6) and move to hybrid that is much easier to hit with consistency. (Boo Weekley won the Verizon Heritage, twice, with a hybrid in the bag)

When players look at a hybrid, they'll see varying degrees of lofts marked on the head (i.e. 21-degree, 22-degree) what should they choose?"Your best bet is to find a club that will let you demo a couple, take them out to the range and see what the yardage is on each one and fill in your bag, and fill some gaps with the yardage morseo than worrying about the degrees."
With a hybrid, where do you play the ball in your stance?"I generally play mine two inches off the inside of my left foot, play it moreso like a wood than an iron."
