I caught White Sox marketing whiz Brooks Boyer on the news early this morning talking about the Opening Day festivities and I heard that the Southsiders were going to have Chicago native Lupe Fiasco and Matthew Santos perform prior to the game.

Way to go Sox! Good lookin' out for a local artist. Screw Elton John and Billy Joel - give me Lupe, Common, Kanye any day at the Cell.
